Joomchi is often referred to as a traditional Korean paper-making technique. Layers of Korean hanji (paper made from the mulberry tree) are hand-felted to make a stronger, more durable fiber that has practical and decorative uses. I’ve experimented by applying a few different techniques to the felted fiber.
